In Egyptian mythology, this noble metal formed the bones of the gods while their flesh was made from gold and the early association of gold with the sun naturally led to silver holding a unique connection to the moon. This relationship between silver and the moon has imbued the metal with feminine symbolism evoking qualities such as softness, purity, calmness, wisdom and reflection.

Sunstone is the crystal of joy and positivity, carrying the energy of the sun. Known for its warm, golden glow and sparkling inclusions it’s often described as holding a piece of the sun itself, radiating light, warmth, and life-affirming energy.

In ancient Egyptian culture, the star Sirius (the Dog Star), the brightest star in Canis Major, was associated with several deities, including Isis and Anubis. The heliacal rising of Sirius in mid-July marked the annual flooding of the Nile, a crucial event for agriculture. This connection made Sirius highly revered, symbolizing rebirth and fertility. The period of its rising was referred to as the "Dog Days," associated with the hottest days of summer.

Silver - suggests nobility and cosmic grace, Canis Major is a companion to Orion, a hunter of mythic stature.

Amber - associated with warmth and protection, Canis Major is a guardian figure, loyal and radiant.
