Cleopatra famously wore a gold mask to maintain radiant skin, believing it had rejuvenating effects. Divinity, enlightenment and higher consciousness add to the natural beauty of this element.

The myth revolves around Andromeda, the daughter of Queen Cassiopeia and King Cepheus of Ethiopia. Cassiopeia boasted that her daughter's beauty surpassed that of the Nereids, the sea nymphs favoured by the sea god Poseidon. In retaliation for Cassiopeia's arrogance, Poseidon sent Cetus to ravage Aethiopia as punishment.

To appease the wrath of Poseidon and save their kingdom, Cassiopeia and Cepheus consulted an oracle which advised them to sacrifice Andromeda to Cetus. They chained her to a rock as an offering and just as the monster was about to devour her, Perseus arrived, having just slain the Gorgon Medusa. Using Medusa's head, he turned Cetus to stone, thus saving Andromeda and freeing the kingdom from the monster's terror.

Cetus is deeply rooted in Greek mythology, symbolizing the dangers of the sea, divine retribution and human hubris.

Dark Blue - represents the vast, mysterious ocean from which Cetus emerges, linked to Poseidon and the primal forces of the sea.

Green - tied to sea serpents and marine life, suggesting transformation and ancient wisdom.
