In Egyptian mythology, this noble metal formed the bones of the gods while their flesh was made from gold and the early association of gold with the sun naturally led to silver holding a unique connection to the moon. This relationship between silver and the moon has imbued the metal with feminine symbolism evoking qualities such as softness, purity, calmness, wisdom and reflection.
In Greek mythology, Draco is often identified with Ladon, the dragon that guarded a tree bearing golden apples, a gift from Gaia to Hera. Located in the Garden of Hesperides, these apples were also protected by the Hesperides, the daughters of Atlas. The myth states that Heracles (Hercules) was tasked with retrieving these golden apples as one of his twelve labours. To accomplish this, he had to defeat Ladon, which he did using poisoned arrows. After Ladon's defeat, Hera, saddened by the loss of the dragon, placed him among the stars as the constellation Draco.
Dark Green - wisdom, nature, and primal power, dragons often symbolize earth-bound strength and ancient knowledge.
Silver - lunar energy and astral clarity, Draco’s serpentine form evokes moonlit wisdom and stellar navigation.
